Simon rose from graduate trainee to the executive board of the Thomson Holidays Group and was subsequently Managing Director of tailor-made & business travel organisation WEXAS International for 13 years and Chairman of the industry charity Friends of Conservation. He was then Managing Director of luxury villas specialist Simpson Travel and set up his own strategy, marketing and sustainability consultancy Travelwatch Ltd., advising clients such as Air Miles, the Travel Foundation, Qatar Tourism Authority, Advantage Travel, the Yorkshire Dales and Mauritian Property Partnerships.

Simon was recently made Visiting Industry Professor of Regent’s Business School in Regent’s Park, London, helping the development of a Masters Degree in International Travel & Tourism Business Management. He is also a non-executive director of luxury tailormade tour operator, Steppes Travel; a Director of Syntec Telecom, providing ‘cloud’-based contact centre management services to the travel industry and other sectors; and a Director of the Institute of Travel & Tourism (ITT)

Sally has worked within the publishing industry for the past 30 years, 20 of those has been in the travel sector and the last 14 years within an eLearning environment in travel media.   Sally is passionate about marketing, the power of knowledge and has experience of company start-ups which has led her to develop new brands, creating new marketing opportunities. She is a great communicator and well known across the Travel Industry for her professionalism. Sally loves Africa and travels to Zimbabwe and Mozambique regularly.  When not in Africa she spends most of her spare time transporting her daughter and horse around the English countryside attending dressage competitions.

Graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Business IT, Shoni has over 5 years’ experience in e-commerce and digital marketing – most noticeably spending two and a half years within the Education Division at TUI Travel. She is a keen traveller and spent the first half of 2014 backpacking around South East Asia. Away from work, she can be found at the AMEX Stadium supporting her local football team – Brighton & Hove Albion or on her laptop, researching her next city break – with the current preference being New York!

Richard has over 20 years experience in marketing, sales and business development. With a keen eye for all things digital he has been responsible for developing and managing online strategies for start ups, brand activations, product launches, concerts and corporate and government events. Most recently managing the online marketing for multiple SME’s for the purpose of lead generation, PR, brand awareness and sales.

A keen traveller he has visited every continent but his true love is Africa having spent his early years living in South Africa  and more recently working in Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya.

He is also an active member of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers where he is involved in charitable activities and supporting the Crown Woods Academy Communications and Content curriculum.

Well known and respected across Canada within the Travel Industry.Richard has been in or around the travel industry since 1968 when he joined Wardair Canada following his MBA. After lecturing marketing research at a British Columbia Business College he founded and latterly sold Marktrend, which became the largest Western Canadian based research supplier. In 1992 he founded ConsumerScan International.

Major airlines, package tour companies and hotels from all over North America form the majority of Richard’s research clients. Richard is also Mr Equator Learning within Canada adding value at every turn to our clients.

Responsible for the development of the system and customer engagement, Tony now affords both strategic thinking and support to the Equator Operations Team.
